The Master of Occupational Health and Safety has a flexible delivery mode combining online course content with three to five days of on campus block-teaching sessions focused on the exploration and application of the subject material. The on campus component utilises a range of campus resources, including UOW's well-resourced OH&S laboratory.
The indicative course fee for a full-fee paying domestic student in 2026 is $38,819, with a session fee of $12,940. However, in 2026, domestic students may be eligible for either a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) or a UOW-subsidised fee reduction of up to 75% off the listed fees.
During the Master of Occupational Health and Safety, you will study advanced WHS risk management, applied human factors and ergonomics, industrial epidemiology and toxicology, occupational health and safety systems, work health and safety law, workplace hazards and hygiene, and human and organisational performance. In the final stage of the degree, you will apply your knowledge and skills to a research-based capstone workplace project.
