Yes. This course is recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and graduates will be eligible to apply for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
Students are required to complete 1,000 hours of clinical and professional fieldwork as part of the Master of Occupational Therapy program.
For domestic students, applications open on 1 July of the preceding year and close on 31 October of the preceding year. A small number of rolling offers are released to applicants with high academic merit, with main offers released between December and January.
For international students, applications open on 15 April of the preceding year and close on 31 July of the preceding year. Offers are made throughout the year based on academic merit and subject to availability in the program.
Yes. Applicants without a degree in a health related area such as medicine, nursing, allied health or health sciences or human functioning (education, anthropology, anthropometrics, built environment) must complete prescribed units of study in anatomy and/or psychology as selectives.
