  • An Honours degree with 2nd Class Division 2 or higher, OR
  • A coursework master's degree with an equivalent average mark of 60+ or a GPA of 2.8 out of 4.
  • Candidates with a coursework master's degree or a 4-year Bachelor Honours degree in the same discipline may be granted up to 24 credit points of advanced standing for the coursework component of the Master of Philosophy.
  • Admission to UOW is primarily based on your academic qualifications, with work or life experience generally not considered.
  • All UOW courses are taught in English and require varying levels of proficiency. If English is not your first language, you must meet the University's English Language Requirements. Accepted international test results include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge, and OET for specific health-related courses.
