Master of Philosophy (Medical Radiation Science)

The Master of Philosophy (Medical Radiation Science) aims to expand knowledge beyond the undergraduate honours or postgraduate diploma level, culminating in a research thesis. At least two-thirds of the study program must involve research, with the main part being a thesis written under the guidance of a supervisor and associate supervisor(s) that makes a substantial original contribution to knowledge.

Yes. Upon completion of the Master of Philosophy by research degree, you may apply to be considered for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at Curtin University.

Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens who are successful applicants of a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program are eligible for a tuition fee exemption under the Australian Government's Research Training Program (RTP) for up to two years of full-time equivalent study for Master of Philosophy programs.

Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. For this course, the IELTS Academic requirements are an overall band score of 6.5, with minimum scores of 6.0 in each of Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening. Other accepted English language tests and qualifications may also be considered.
