The Master of Philosophy (Veterinary Science) is a research-by-thesis degree. Your thesis should demonstrate a critical application of specialist knowledge and make an independent contribution to existing scholarship. The normal length of an MPhil thesis is 30,000–40,000 words.
The course takes 2 years to complete full time, or 4 years if studied part time.
You can specialise in key research areas including veterinary biosciences; animal sciences - health and welfare; and infectious diseases - public health and biosecurity.
