Yes. The Master of Physiotherapy component of this course is accredited by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and satisfies the academic requirements for registration as a physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
The degree provides 26 weeks of supervised clinical placements, including at least one rural and/or remote placement. You will also undertake clinical learning at Health2GO, an interprofessional student clinic located on campus at the University.
International students must meet the following English language requirements: IELTS overall 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in each of Writing, Speaking, Listening, and Reading. Alternatively, a Pearson overall score of 65 is accepted.
For domestic students, the 2026 annual indicative fee is $10,520 (Commonwealth Supported Place). For international students, the 2026 annual fee is $46,700.
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, knowledge of SACE stage two biology and physics or equivalent is assumed. Adjustment factors are available, and sub-quotas exist for rural and remote applicants as well as Year 12 and higher education applicants. Applicants can apply using Year 12 qualifications, previous higher education study, TAFE/VET qualifications, or through adult entry pathways such as STAT, Foundation Studies, or a tertiary preparation course.
