The course is accredited by the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) — where students completing this course can access Associate level membership — as well as Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and CPA Australia. Students will need to graduate to be eligible to register with CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which is required to practice in the profession.
For domestic students, the estimated first-year indicative fee is AUD $31,100. For international students, the estimated first-year indicative fee is AUD $40,050.
Yes. Students can choose between two work-integrated learning options in their final semester: the Management Practicum (BUS6900), which requires a minimum of 100 hours of learning in a work setting, or the Tax Clinic Practice (LAW6150), which offers hands-on experience working directly with the public and tax professionals, providing advice and support for unrepresented, lower income or vulnerable taxpayers and small businesses.
Yes. Successful applicants with a Graduate Certificate qualification or higher in Accounting may seek reduced course duration by applying for recognition of prior learning.
