Yes, the degree is accredited by Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Successful completion of all accredited subjects also fulfils the academic entry requirements for CPA Australia and CAANZ.

To be eligible for entry, applicants must hold an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a non-accounting discipline, or an equivalent qualification.

The course takes 2 years to complete as a full-time student, or up to 4 years if studied part-time, with flexible study options available at the Brisbane campus.

You will learn about management, corporate finance, auditing, business and taxation law, economics for sustainability, and data analysis. You will also explore introductory and advanced issues in accounting, complete an applied research project, and develop professional judgement to work independently and with integrity.

The estimated annual tuition fee for a full-time study load is $33,133 (2026 fees, subject to change in following years). A Student Services and Amenities Fee is also required, and fee deferral and scholarships may be available if eligible.
