Accounting Principles
Introduces students to fundamental accounting principles and the understanding of functions of financial and management accounting. Topics include accounting processes from recording transactions to preparation and presentation of financial statements.
Economics for Managers
Focuses on decision making and policy choices in a dynamic economic environment. Covers microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts and tools, with emphasis on the Australian economy and its macroeconomic policy changes.
Commercial Law
Students develop legal knowledge of key commercial law principles including law of agency, consumer law, Competition and Consumer Act 2010, e-commerce, and Insurance Contracts Act 1984.
Management Accounting
Develops knowledge of management accounting at an introductory level, covering costing systems, cost volume profit analysis, activity-based costing, and relevant information for decision making.

The course is delivered via blended learning, which is a combination of online and on-campus study. Classes may be scheduled Monday to Friday with AM and/or PM sessions, with some evening classes, depending on subject selection.
Subjects are assessed in a variety of ways including written assignments, online quizzes, practical exercises, reports, case studies, oral presentations, simulations, tests and examinations.
