Domestic students must have successfully completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited Level 1 and 2 qualification within the past 10 years (with a GPA of 5.5 or above in the Level 2 qualification) and be eligible for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a psychologist. Applicants must also demonstrate personal and professional suitability, submit an application form, CV, statement of personal learning objectives and two professional referees, and participate in an interview.
The Master of Professional Psychology can be completed in 1 year full time (3 trimesters) or over 6 trimesters part time.
The indicative total course fee for domestic students is $44,180 (comprising 2 units at $3,681 each, 2 units at $4,604 each, and 5 units at $5,522 each), plus the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). FEE-HELP is available for eligible domestic students.
The Master of Professional Psychology is available at the Sydney campus, with on-campus study mode.
International students must achieve a minimum Academic IELTS overall band of 7.0 with no individual band below 7 (completed in the past two years), or a Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score of 66 (completed in the past two years). Students must also meet the English language competency requirements outlined in the Psychology Board of Australia 'English language skills registration standards'.
