The Master of Professional Psychology includes 300 hours of professional placement, allowing students to put their skills into practice while they study.
Applicants must have provisional registration as a psychologist in Australia, and either an AQF level 8 bachelor honours degree or an AQF level 8 graduate diploma, both accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council with a GPA of 5.0 or above.
The estimated annual Commonwealth Supported Fee for a full-time study load is $17,399 AUD (2026 fees, subject to change). Fee deferral via HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP and scholarships are available for eligible students. The Student Services and Amenities Fee is also required.
Graduates are eligible to complete a one-year internship, after which they can register as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. They may go on to work as registered general psychologists in hospitals, private practice, education, and other settings, including regional and remote communities.
