Yes. The course can be fast-tracked depending on your prior qualifications and experience. Applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate of Project Management or an honours bachelor degree in a related discipline may complete in 1 year full-time. Those with a bachelor degree in a related discipline, a graduate certificate in a related discipline, or a bachelor degree in any discipline plus two years relevant work experience may complete in 1.5 years full-time.
The Master of Project Management offers a range of specialisations including Accounting, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Financial Technologies, Human Resource Management, International Business, Research, Social Impact, and Supply Chain Innovation.
Applicants must demonstrate satisfactory English by completing one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 70% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined in the English language requirements.
Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) also allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, where relevant experience is used as the basis of admission, no further recognition for prior learning/credit can be granted on that basis.
The Master of Project Management is available full-time or part-time, with a standard duration of 2 years full-time or equivalent part-time. A fast-track option is also available for those with proven relevant working experience and/or cognate learning, which can reduce the duration to 1 or 1.5 years.
