The Master of Property at RMIT takes 2 years to complete full-time, or 4 years part-time.
The Master of Property is offered with intakes in Semester 1 (classes begin March 2026) and Semester 2 (classes begin July 2026). International students should also check whether a Semester 3 intake is available for this course.
Graduates can work in real estate agencies, superannuation and investment fund managers, government property management (federal or state), and organisations managing assets such as embassies, stadiums, and airports. Roles span residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and retirement village property management, as well as funds management. The average salary for property managers in Australia is $85,000 per year.
Yes. RMIT offers the Graduate Certificate in Property (6 months full-time / 1 year part-time) and the Graduate Diploma in Property (1 year full-time / 2 years part-time) as pathway qualifications that can lead into the Master of Property.
International students can check the Master of Property course page and select 'Student type: International' to confirm availability. International students must meet RMIT's English language requirements and academic prerequisites. Most international students will need a student visa (subclass 500) and should accept their offer at least 4–8 weeks before the course start date to allow for visa processing.
The program covers a broad range of property sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, retail, and retirement villages. It also addresses different types of ownership including private sector, government (federal and state), and international asset management, as well as topics such as law, facilities management, finance, accounting, and the whole life cycle of property assets.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
