The following accreditations (based on subjects achieved) are currently being sought from the Australian Properties Institute: Certified Asset Manager, Certified Commercial Property Manager, Certified Development Practitioner, Certified Funds Manager, Certified Practicing Valuer, and Certified Property Practitioner. Additionally, the School of Business has been awarded AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for its excellence in business education.
The Master of Property Investment and Development is taught at Western Sydney University's state-of-the-art Parramatta City Campus.
Applicants with no property background may apply under the 160 Credit Point Pathway, which requires the successful completion of an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline. Alternatively, applicants with a non-property undergraduate degree and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience in relevant property roles may apply under the 120 Credit Point Pathway.
The Master of Property Investment and Development has four intake dates: 30 March 2026, 22 June 2026, 14 September 2026, and 04 January 2027.
The Master of Property Investment and Development is a two-year program available full time, with part-time study also available. The indicative annual domestic student fee starts from $11,885.
