Yes, the Master of Psychology (Clinical) is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as a 5th and 6th year program of study for the purpose of full registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, and to provide preparation for entry into a registrar program leading to an area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia.
This course contains a total of 1000 hours of compulsory work-based placements, completed over 104 weeks (at 10 hours per week) throughout the degree.
Applicants must have successfully completed a four-year, or three-year plus a fourth-year, APAC-accredited sequence in psychology within the last 10 years, with an Honours degree of at least Class II Division 1 (or an equivalent 4th-year qualification) to be considered a successful candidate for the Clinical Psychology Program.
The indicative course fee for a full-fee paying place is $65,633 (2026), with a session fee of $16,408 (2026). However, in 2026, domestic students may be eligible for either a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) or a UOW-subsidised fee reduction of up to 75% off the fees listed.
Teaching methods include a combination of lectures, workshops, skills training, online and supervised work-based practicums, both at the University's Northfields Psychology Clinic and at external placements. Students are also required to complete a research project — facilitated by structured research subjects — in each of the two years of the program.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
