The Master of Psychology (Clinical) takes 2 years full time (6 trimesters) to complete. A part time equivalent option is also available, which can be completed over 12 trimesters.
The course includes 1,000 hours of practical skills and training, which takes place at ACAP's on-campus clinic and external locations.
Applicants must have successfully completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Level 1 and 2 qualification within the past 10 years with a GPA of 5.5 or above in the Level 2 qualification, and be eligible for provisional registration with AHPRA as a psychologist. Applicants must also demonstrate personal and professional suitability, submit an application form, CV, statement of personal learning objectives, and two professional referees, and participate in an interview.
The indicative annual course fee is $44,184 per 1.0 EFTSL. Individual unit costs vary: 2 units at $3,681, 2 units at $4,604, 9 units at $5,522, and 2 units at $11,050. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is also payable in addition to course fees.
