Master of Psychology (Clinical)

• Have successfully completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited Level 1 and 2 qualification within the past 10 years (with a GPA of 5.5 or above in the Level 2 qualification) and be eligible for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist
• Be able to demonstrate personal and professional suitability for post-graduate training in psychology
• Submission of an application form, CV, statement of personal learning objectives and two professional referees
• Participation in an interview
• Note: It is a condition of this course that students complete a National Criminal History Record check prior to enrolment into the second unit of study

International students additionally require:

• Overseas qualifications must be deemed by APAC as equivalent to Australian qualifications
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic IELTS minimum overall band of 7.0 with no individual band below 7.0 (completed in the past two years) or equivalent; OR English language competency that meets the requirements outlined in the Psychology Board of Australia 'English language skills registration standards'
• As part of the registration requirements you must meet the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) 'English language skills registration standards'

Once you graduate from the Master of Psychology (Clinical), you will open doors to a range of possible career opportunities, including: Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Clinician, and Private Practice Psychologist.
