The Master of Psychology (Professional) is a one-year full-time course; however, a limited number of students may be offered the option of part-time enrolment on the basis of equity considerations. Part-time enrolment is available only with course coordinator approval for a small number of pre-approved students.
You need to submit the following documents: academic transcript and award certificate, evidence of English language competency, resume, proof of professional registration, a completed personal statement of no more than 350 words, and referee reports from one academic and one professional referee submitted via the Psychology Reference Portal. International students must also provide proof of English competency (IELTS 7.0 in all bands or equivalent).
Yes, this course requires you to undertake fieldwork placements to complete your qualification. In order to undertake fieldwork, you must meet the following requirements: student declaration, AHPRA registration, and criminal record screening and clearance.
For 2026, the Commonwealth-supported first-year indicative fee is $17,400, and the domestic fee-paying first-year indicative fee is $40,818. These fees are indicative only, based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points, and do not include administrative, incidental fees, or the cost of textbooks.
