The Master of Public Policy (ANU/UT) is a joint postgraduate program offered by the Australian National University (ANU) in partnership with UT (University of Technology). It is designed to provide advanced training in public policy at the postgraduate level.
ANU collects and uses student personal information to administer admission, enrolment, academic progress, academic integrity, discipline, graduation, accommodation, access to University facilities and services, internal business reporting, library loans, fees, visa, immigration, taxation and financial support purposes, and in relation to graduates, for alumni activities, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
Yes, students have the right under the Privacy Act to ask for access to the personal information that ANU holds about them and to request corrections. Requests can be made by contacting the Privacy Officer, who will respond within 30 days. ANU will ask you to verify your identity before providing access or making corrections.
