Master of Research (Physics)

You will learn to demonstrate mastery of theoretical knowledge and reflect critically on its application, investigate and synthesise complex information and theories, generate and evaluate complex ideas at an abstract level, design and evaluate research methods, communicate and present coherent arguments to research communities, and design and disseminate research that makes an original contribution to knowledge.

Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens who are successful applicants of a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program are eligible for a tuition fee exemption under the Australian Government's Research Training Program (RTP), up to two years of full-time equivalent study for Master of Philosophy programs.

Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. For this course, the IELTS Academic requirements are an overall band score of 6.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening components.
