The session fee is $15,203 (2026) and the total indicative course fee is $45,608 (2026). These fees are subject to change from year to year; however, if you receive an offer to study at UOW, your fees will be fully confirmed at the time of your offer. Fee subsidised places are also available.
For Autumn Session 2026, the application deadline is 9 December 2025 for international students and 31 December 2025 for domestic (direct) applicants. For Spring Session 2026, the deadline is 5 May 2026 for international students and 31 May 2026 for domestic applicants.
Applicants should meet one of the following criteria: a recognised bachelor's degree in a health discipline, or a qualification to practise as a Registered Nurse or equivalent; or completion of the UOW Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and Rehabilitation Studies, or equivalent. English language proficiency requirements also apply if English is not your first language.
Yes, if you have completed prior studies or relevant professional experience, you can request course credit or subject exemptions to reduce the duration and cost of your program. Credit for prior learning evaluates your previous study or work experience related to your chosen subjects, and UOW values lifelong learning regardless of how or where it was obtained.
