Common Questions
RMIT offers a range of hands-on learning experiences including use of the ALS SimMan (a high-fidelity patient simulation manikin), the Anatomage Table for 3D anatomy visualisation and virtual dissection, specialised medical radiation labs with VR simulation technology, and industry-connected placements with partners such as Northern Health and VetCheck Technologies.
Yes, many of RMIT's health courses offer the opportunity to undertake industry-connected placements in professional environments. In 2023, 19,730 RMIT students completed work-integrated learning activities, and students have had placements at institutions such as the Royal Melbourne Hospital, gaining practical experience and professional contacts.
The Anatomage Table is a 3D anatomy visualisation and virtual dissection tool used in RMIT's digital human bioscience facilities. It acts as a digital cadaver, allowing students and academics to digitally explore and dissect the anatomical systems of the body, including removing elements such as skin, the cardiovascular system, or specific organs in an interactive and immersive way — without needing a physical cadaver.
RMIT awards scholarships each year to thousands of new and continuing students across its courses and degrees. Scholarships are based on criteria including personal circumstances and financial need, study area and level of study, research, travel, and academic achievement. Prospective students are encouraged to explore the scholarships page on the RMIT website for options relevant to postgraduate coursework study.
Eligible Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens studying postgraduate coursework programs at RMIT may be able to access FEE-HELP, a Commonwealth assistance loan that helps cover tuition fees. Students may also be eligible for a SA-HELP loan to cover the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). Full details are available on the RMIT fees for postgraduate study page.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
