The elective component can be either 6 elective units of 12.5 credit points each, or 4 elective units of 12.5 credit points each and 1 elective unit of 25 credit points.
Yes. Completing 6 core units and 2 elective units entitles you to the Graduate Diploma of Science (Biotechnology), while completing an additional 4 core units and 3 or 4 elective units entitles you to the full Masters degree.
