The program requires a minimum of 744 hours of professional placements as part of the prescribed course of study.
For domestic students, applications open on 1 July of the preceding year and close on 31 October of the preceding year. A small number of early offers are released to applicants with high academic merit, with main offers released between December and January.
For international students, applications open on 15 April of the preceding year and close on 31 July of the preceding year. Offers are made throughout the year based on academic merit and subject to availability in the program.
The majority of the Graduate Entry Master offers are full fee-paying places. There may be a small number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) available and these are allocated on the basis of academic merit.
Yes, graduates from this program are qualified for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia, which allows them to work as speech pathologists in Australia.
