Graduates will have advanced knowledge of the theological and spiritual foundations of spiritual direction in the Christian tradition, mastery of skills to critically reflect on giving guidance to an individual's spiritual experience, communication and technical research skills to justify and interpret theoretical propositions, the ability to apply knowledge with creativity and initiative to professional practice, and the skills to execute a substantial research-based project, capstone experience or piece of scholarship.
