The Master of Surgery by Research can be undertaken in any of the following departments of the Melbourne Medical School: Surgery at Austin Health, Surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Surgery at St Vincent's Hospital, Surgery at Western Campus, Surgery at Northern Health, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Paediatrics at Royal Children's Hospital.
To be eligible for the Master of Surgery, you must be a medical graduate of at least two years standing with not less than two years of experience as a medical officer in a hospital affiliated with an appropriate university for teaching purposes.
