About This Course

The Master of Teaching is a postgraduate award in initial teacher education, fully accredited by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) and Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA). The ACCS Master of Teaching program is comprised of 96 credit points including two Professional Experience placements and is intended for graduates of a relevant Bachelor or Master's degree. Underpinned by an inclusive Christian worldview that accommodates diversity, the Master of Teaching program prepares you for the rich, relational, and significant role of teacher so that you are ready to make a difference in your students' lives – individually and for the common good. The program emphasizes educational good practice and is designed to develop the insight, knowledge and skills required for high quality learning and teaching. The degree contains two streams: Primary and Secondary, with a common core of foundational units including pedagogical studies and professional experience units.
