Yes, the Master of Teaching is fully accredited by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) and Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA).
The ACCS Master of Teaching program is comprised of 96 credit points, including two Professional Experience placements.
The degree contains two streams: Primary and Secondary. Stream 1 – Primary includes six Key Learning Areas: English, Human Society and its Environment, Mathematics, Science and Technology, PD/H/PE, and Creative Arts. Stream 2 – Secondary enables you to study two areas of teaching specialization associated with your undergraduate degree, with areas offered in English, Mathematics, Ancient History, Modern History, Studies of Religion and Science.
The Master of Teaching is intended for graduates of a relevant Bachelor or Master's degree who wish to enter the teaching profession.
The program is underpinned by an inclusive Christian worldview that accommodates diversity, and is designed to develop the insight, knowledge and skills required for high quality learning and teaching so that graduates are ready to make a difference in their students' lives – individually and for the common good.
