With this degree, you can choose either an early exit to become a qualified early-childhood (Birth-5 Year) teacher or complete an additional six months to graduate with a primary-school teaching degree as well (Birth-12).
Yes. This program has been accredited by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) as meeting all initial teacher education accreditation standards including the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate Teacher level. It has also been approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
The program takes 2.5 years full time and is also available part time. You may also be eligible for an accelerated study mode to complete your degree sooner.
Domestic students may be eligible for Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP), with an indicative annual fee from $11,885. International students are subject to tuition fees of AUD $35,070.
The program is offered at the Bankstown City campus (UAC 950904). Upcoming start dates are 20 July 2026 (Spring 2026), 01 March 2027 (Autumn 2027), and 19 July 2027 (Spring 2027).
