Entry requirements (non year 12) Prerequisites A completed Australian Bachelor degree in any field (or equivalent). This course uses the entire academic record as part of its selection considerations. Applicants with a Vocational Education and Training study are not eligible to apply for this course. Applicants with work and life experience are not eligible to apply for this course. English language requirements IELTS score: Speaking 8.0, Listening 8.0, Reading 7.0, and Writing 7.0 or successful completion of two years full-time equivalent study at recognised Australian university within the past two years. Extra requirements Essential requirements for selection and application CASPer Compulsory: All applicants are required to complete Altus Suite as part of their application. Altus Suite is a requirement for many of the initial teacher training courses in Victoria. It is a non-cognitive online test designed to assess an applicant's personal and professional attributes. Altus Suite consists of two-parts, however only the Casper component is compulsory for Federation University applications. To graduate from this course and be eligible to apply for provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), the LANTITE test standard in both literacy and numeracy must be achieved. Students who have provided evidence of First Nations language proficiency are not required to undertake the LANTITE test.
