Students will complete 18 units (6 credit points each) consisting of 15 core units across Education (General) and Education (Secondary) areas, 4 method stream units across two chosen subject streams (one Years 7–10 unit and one VCE unit per stream), and 1 capstone unit (the Capstone Experience).
Yes. The Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) provides eligible students with $331.65 per week from 1 July 2025 to help cover the costs of mandatory placements. Education students at Eastern College Australia may qualify for this support during their teaching rounds.
You may be entitled to credit for prior learning, whether formal or informal. Formal learning can include previous study in higher education, vocational education, or adult and community education. Informal learning can include on the job learning or various kinds of work and life experience. Credit can reduce the amount of study needed to complete a degree. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
