Master of Urban and Regional Planning Capstone (Planning Report or Research Dissertation)
A capstone unit comprising a planning report or research dissertation.

You will complete core units in urban and regional planning, along with a capstone unit comprising a planning report or research dissertation. You will also complete elective units that focus on design and current urban issues as needed to meet the requirements of the course.
The course has two intake periods: Semester 1, with applications closing on 31 January of the commencing year, and Semester 2, with applications closing on 15 July of the commencing year.
You can submit an application through the University of Sydney's online portal. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications, so it is important to check the scholarship closing dates as well.
The degree will develop your communication skills, reasoning and analytical processes required to make valuable contributions to the policy, technical and regulatory aspects of urban and regional planning.
