You can choose a principal study in voice, orchestral and solo instruments, early music, jazz and contemporary music practice.
The degree provides ample opportunity to perform as both a soloist and as a member of a musical ensemble. Throughout the course you will present recitals, participate in seminars, conducted ensembles and chamber groups, culminating in a public performance in your final semester.
For domestic and international applications, the closing date is 26 November for Semester 1 and 30 June for Semester 2. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Yes, after submitting your course application and noting your application number (IPU or student ID), you are required to register for an audition with the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. It is also recommended to read about the postgraduate pre-admission and audition requirements on the Conservatorium's website before applying.
