The Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) is designed for international bachelor or diploma graduates who do not meet the academic or English requirements for postgraduate studies in Australia.

The available intake dates for the PQP in 2026 are Trimester 1 starting 30 March 2026, Trimester 2 starting 13 July 2026, and Trimester 3 starting 16 November 2026. There is also a 2025 Trimester 3 intake starting 17 November 2025.
Through the PQP, you will develop skills in academic writing and speaking including presentations, analytical and critical evaluation, how to undertake and manage research, and planning and writing research papers, proposals and reports. The program also includes the completion of a practical Research Project which reinforces the concepts and skills addressed throughout the course.
