Yes. As part of the program, you will undertake one academic unit from the Masters degree you are studying to be eligible for, and you will receive this unit credited towards that course. The elective unit you complete (worth 6 credit points) is chosen based on your intended Masters program.
The estimated international tuition fee for the program is $9,768, plus an estimated amenities fee of $373 per year if studying full-time. Note that fees quoted cover full-time tuition for two full-time trimesters only and do not include other expenses such as textbooks, accommodation, and living expenses. The UNE International Bursary can reduce published annual tuition fees by up to 20% for eligible international students.
The Postgraduate International Qualifying Program is only available on campus at UNE's Armidale Campus and is not offered online. Intakes are available in Trimester 1 (February 2026) and Trimester 2 (June 2026) at the Armidale Campus. It is not available at the Sydney Campus or online.
To be eligible for entry, you must have completed, at minimum, a three-year post-secondary qualification in your home country, or a Bachelor Degree from a recognised university that is comparable to an Associate Degree under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). English language requirements must also be met. This course is currently not available to domestic students.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
