Loreto College was founded in 1905 by Mother Gonzaga Barry and is run by the Loreto Sisters, members of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM). The school is inspired by the vision of Mary Ward, who believed that 'women, in time to come, will do much,' and is committed to educating strong, passionate and confident girls and young women.
