Common Questions
Students can only commence the PTE course if they have an Upper Intermediate level of English or above. They can demonstrate this with an IELTS test taken less than 2 years before application, an equivalent qualification, or by completing the AEC College English Placement Test under test conditions. If a student's level is below Upper Intermediate, they will need to study General English first until their skills are sufficient.
The course duration is a total of 24 weeks (24 weeks of study plus 6 weeks of holidays), with 20 hours of face-to-face on-campus learning per week.
The course uses both formative and summative assessment methods. Every week focuses on one macro skill in greater detail, which is assessed via a formative assessment tool and a summative assessment tool every 5 weeks. A minimum of 50% or greater must be achieved in assessments to demonstrate satisfactory course progress for student visa holders.
A minimum of 80% attendance is required for student visa holders. The course timetable can vary from morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, and students are advised to contact the college to find out the current timetable.
All students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of their course. The course has one level at Upper Intermediate to Advanced, with a level completion time of 20 weeks.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
