Common Questions
The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a high quality, internationally recognised pre-university qualification awarded upon successful completion of senior secondary schooling. It opens pathways leading to further studies, vocations, employment and careers.
At Stage One, students must complete one English subject (English, Essential English, or English as an Additional Language), one Mathematics subject (Essential Mathematics, General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics), and Exploring Identities & Futures if not completed in Year 10. At Stage Two, Activating Identities & Futures is compulsory, plus four Stage 2 subjects (or equivalent) for SACE completion.
Yes. The SACE offers varying approaches to learning and assessment, and students can incorporate more flexible elements such as Vocational Education and Training (VET) subjects accredited within the SACE program.
According to Pembroke, all the Stage Two subjects listed have TAS (Tertiary Admission Subject) status, meaning they can contribute to a student's tertiary entrance ranking.
There is an emphasis on students actively planning their chosen academic pathway for the senior years in collaboration with their parents, teachers and community mentors. Students can choose to specialise in certain key areas of interest or to maintain a breadth of subjects in these final years.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
