The institution is currently accepting only second-year pathway students into the Bachelor of Construction Project Management for all intakes. Domestic applicants can apply via recent secondary education (ATAR of 65 and English study score requirements), VET/TAFE study, higher education study, or work and life experience. International applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 Academic with no single band lower than 5.5.
Graduates will develop skills in construction management, construction technology, quantity surveying, construction law and contracts, building services, surveying and sustainable practices, and cost and quality management. The course also focuses on leadership, communication, and working with multidisciplinary teams, preparing you to manage construction projects from planning through to completion.
The course requires completion of 24 units (360 credit points) over three years. Students study two or three units per trimester, with most units comprising three hours of lectures and tutorials per week and 10 hours of personal study per unit per week. The number of days per week depends on the timetable and is usually 2 to 3 days. Some units have co/prerequisite requirements, such as Construction Technology I being a prerequisite for Construction Technology II.
Yes, if you have completed prior tertiary studies, you may be eligible for some credit exemptions through credit transfer. Credit transfer depends on the relevance and level of your previous studies and how they align with this course. International students are charged a tuition fee of $2,550 per unit across 24 units, plus an administration fee of $200. There are no materials fees.
