About This Course

The Undergraduate Certificate of Photography is an exciting accredited, and fully FEE-HELP enabled higher education course that provides a comprehensive introductory tertiary-level photographic qualification. During a one trimester period, you will cover all the technical aspects needed to produce creative photographic images, ensuring you gain comprehensive skills in camera craft and digital post-production. By exploring a range of photographic genres and visual approaches, you will develop your own photography practice, as well as learn about the history of photography and the influence it has had on contemporary photographic styles.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate appropriate levels of English language proficiency consistent with studying in tertiary education.
Domestic applicants must complete a creative chat or submit a 150-word statement.
International applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency via one of the following: IELTS (Academic Module), TOEFL Internet, Pearson's Test of English (PTE), or Cambridge Test. The test result must have been achieved no earlier than two years prior to the commencement of the course.
International applicants must submit a folio of 8–10 images.
Certified copies of academic transcripts must be provided.
A certified copy of a current passport is required for international applicants.
International students on a student visa must be covered by Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
