Upon successful completion of the UniLink Bridging Program, you can progress into the Diploma of Arts and Communication (UniLink), Diploma of Business (UniLink), Diploma of Design (UniLink), or Diploma of Engineering (UniLink), among other UniLink diplomas offered at Swinburne.
Students must successfully complete four units in total: one core unit (Academic and Communication Skills B – COM00003) and three elective units. Electives may be discipline-specific (Design, or Engineering/Science) or general units, depending on the UniLink diploma you intend to enter.
The indicative yearly tuition fee for international students in 2026 is AUD $17,620. This generally includes the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF), which is capped at $373 for 2025. Fees are subject to annual review and are assessed according to actual study load each semester.
There are three intakes per year for the UniLink Bridging Program. For 2026–2027, the intake dates are 22 June 2026 (Pathways Intake 2), 19 October 2026 (Pathways Intake 3), and 22 February 2027 (Pathways Intake 1).
No, the UniLink Bridging Program is only available for international students. International students in Australia holding student visas are required to study full-time and on campus at the Hawthorn location.
