Upon completing Unipath English 2, you will have a range of academic skills including essay, data reporting and business letter writing; competency in a range of speaking tasks including presentations, tutorials, meetings and negotiations; ability to comprehend reading and listening texts on a range of business and global topics; and ability to use a wide range of English grammatical structure for academic purposes.
The course fee is $360 per week. Additional fees include an Acceptance of Enrolment Fee of AU$250 (non-refundable), Learning Materials at AU$15 per week, a Course Deposit (on application), and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) provided by Allianz at pricing subject to the student's specific circumstances. A re-issuance of Certificate or Statement of Attainment costs $25 per page.
The intake dates for Unipath English 2 are: in 2025 — 3 March, 23 June, and 13 October; in 2026 — 23 February, 22 June, and 12 October; and in 2027 — 22 February and 21 June.
To enter Unipath English 2 (Advanced), you need one of the following: IELTS 5.5 with no sub-score below 5.5; PTE Academic 42 with no Communicative Skill below 38; TOEFL iBT 70 with a minimum score of 18; TOEFL Paper 525+ with essay writing of at least 3.5; Cambridge FCE (Grade B, score 75+) or CAE (Level B2, score 47+); or a CEFR level of B2. IELTS General Training is also accepted, but results more than two years old will not be accepted, and the SRI placement test will need to be undertaken.
Classes run Monday to Friday with two 2-hour class sessions from 8:30am–10:30am and 11:00am–1:00pm. There is also a 1-hour free speaking class on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:30pm–2:30pm, and a 1-hour Grammar/Homework Help Workshop on Thursday from 1:30pm–2:30pm. Additionally, free support classes of 1 hour are available, plus 5 hours per week of self-study including online and grammar exercises. Please note that class time can be scheduled anywhere between 8:30am and 7:30pm, and students are responsible for checking their own timetable on the Student Portal each week.
