Specifically, applicants must have successfully completed the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management (or its superseded equivalent, BSB51415), OR have completed two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise. In addition, successful completion of Australian Year 12 or an equivalent qualification is typically mandatory, and students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment. Some providers offer Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer pathways for applicants who have demonstrated skills and knowledge through prior study or industry experience.
For international students from non-English-speaking backgrounds, a minimum English language proficiency score is required. Most providers accept IELTS Academic at 6.0 overall (with no band below 5.5), or an equivalent score in PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, or other recognised English tests.
