The course runs for 52 weeks in total, which includes 45 weeks of study and 7 weeks of scheduled breaks.
Applicants must be 18 years or above with a High School Certificate (Year 12), provide English level evidence (Advanced level/IELTS 6.0/PTE overall 50), and have completed either the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management, the BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent version), or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise.
Graduates of this course can pursue careers as a Project Director, Project Management Section Leader, or Project Manager. The course is also suited for roles such as area managers, department managers, and regional managers.
After graduation from the Advanced Diploma of Program Management, students can progress to the Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Leadership & Management or business courses at CTI, or go onto further studies at University degree level in a variety of associated disciplines.
The course consists of 12 units in total (4 Core units and 8 Electives), organised into four clusters: Manage programs 1 (covering program execution, stakeholder engagement, governance, and benefits), Manage programs 2 (covering finances, organisational change, emotional intelligence, and knowledge management), Manage programs 3 (covering program delivery and risk), and Manage programs 4 (covering program leadership and contract management).
