To enter this course, you must have completed either a BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management or BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent), OR have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in a project or program environment. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years old, have completed an Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification, meet English language requirements (e.g. IELTS 5.5 or equivalent), complete an LLN test, hold or be granted a valid Student Visa, and have basic computer and MS Office skills.
The course consists of 4 core units and 8 elective units, requiring 20 hours of study per week. This comprises 14 hours of face-to-face on-campus training and 6 hours of structured online learning activities. A typical week consists of two days of classes, each with two periods scheduled in either an AM or PM block.
The Advanced Diploma of Program Management is delivered across four locations in Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane.
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Program Management may pursue roles such as Project Director, Project Manager, or Business Manager. The qualification also provides a pathway into higher education in Project Management or related fields, or further study in Business or Project Management.
The course runs for 52 weeks (12 months) including holidays, with students studying 20 hours per week (14 hours on campus and 6 hours online).
