About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. The job roles that relate to this qualification include Program Manager. Individuals in these roles are responsible for managing or directing a program to achieve organisational objectives. A program is defined as a set of interrelated projects, each of which has a project manager. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to direct, plan, and lead a range of program functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Students must be above 18 years of age while filling up the application form.
A Pre-Training Review (PTR) will be conducted prior to enrolment to ensure that the training and assessment meet the individual needs of the student.
International students require a minimum IELTS test score of 6.0 or equivalent for direct entry into the VET course.
IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 10 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course.
IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 20 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course.
Oxford Placement test with score 61 or higher. Note: Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Applicants should have successfully completed BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management; or BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent version).
Or have completed two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise.
Students must undertake a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) skills assessment at ACSF Level 4 prior to enrolment.
All students must have basic computer skills.
Students must have access to a laptop or computer with Windows 7 operating system or higher, an active email address, and be contactable by phone and mail.
Students must have access to MS Office applications such as Microsoft Word and an email platform.
