Yes, the Bachelor of Technology (Aeronautical) is available to both domestic and international students. Domestic students can study full-time or part-time in Semester 1 or Semester 2 at the Joondalup campus, while international students can study full-time in Semester 1 or Semester 2 at the Joondalup campus. The CRICOS code for international students is 075154F.
For domestic students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $7,750 (Commonwealth supported). For international students, the estimated first year indicative fee is AUD $42,600.
Yes, before being eligible to graduate from this course, students must meet the requirement of accumulating and being credited with a minimum 8 weeks professional practice in a relevant industry environment. This can be commenced at any point in the course.
It is desirable that all applicants have passed Mathematics: Methods ATAR, with equivalents considered, and Physics ATAR or Engineering Studies ATAR, with equivalents considered. Alternatively, applicants can complete bridging units during the first year of their studies if they have not passed one or more of these subjects.
After graduating, and depending on the electives chosen, students can apply for the Master of Engineering, specialising in Mechanical Engineering, a qualification accredited by Engineers Australia. This course has also been accredited by ECU as an AQF Level 7 Bachelor Degree Award.
