Common Questions
The program duration is 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment delivered over 4 terms. It consists of four (4) terms of ten (10) weeks each and twelve (12) weeks of holidays.
Students must demonstrate an English level of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (or equivalent), and must also undertake a language, literacy and numeracy assessment and/or enrolment interview prior to acceptance.
Classes are held at the Parramatta campus located at 43-45 Marion St, Parramatta, NSW 2150. All practical classes take place in a dedicated workshop at Unit 4, 2-10 James Ruse Drive, Clyde NSW 2142, where Work Health Safety requirements are always followed under the Trainer's supervision.
Students who have met the course completion criteria by achieving competency in all units will receive a Certification for the qualification CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining. Students who do not successfully complete the qualification will be issued with a Statement of Attainment listing all units that have been deemed competent.
Students who receive the CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining and want to pursue further study opportunities can enrol in higher-level courses with a university in a related undergraduate degree level program or another advanced qualification.
