Students can choose to focus on either Design Innovation or Strategic Design in their Major Project, learning about the principles of design-led innovation, developing strategies for innovation, and devising practices that lead to a strategic advantage in the market.
Through a combination of core units, advanced core units and electives, you will acquire broad skills in communication, information literacy, inventiveness, and critical thinking.
The Graduate Diploma will provide you with a foundation for the more intensive theoretical and practical work undertaken in the Master of Design at the University of Sydney.
Applications close on 31 January of the commencing year for Semester 1 intake, and 15 July of the commencing year for Semester 2 intake. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Current students can refer to the latest faculty handbook, specifically the Architecture, Design and Planning School handbook, for up-to-date course information.
