Common Questions
Yes. The Master of Architecture is the accredited professional degree for a career in architecture, complying with the competency requirements of the Board of Architects Queensland and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. It is also accredited by the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA). Upon completion, graduates must complete a period of supervised employment experience (minimum 2 years) and pass a registration exam for recognition in Australia.
The Master of Architecture can be completed in 1 year 4 months (four semesters) on a full-time basis. Domestic students may also choose to study part-time. There is also a graduate diploma to master's pathway taking 2 years, and a full bachelor to master's pathway taking 3 years 4 months.
Students have access to the award-winning Abedian School of Architecture building, which is dedicated for student use and accessible 24/7 throughout the year. Facilities include computing, fabrication and robotics labs, and traditional workshops. The inventory includes three ABB industrial robot arms (the largest moving along a 4.2m track), plastic and ceramic 3D printing, large format laser cutters, a high-end CNC router, and vacuum forming machines. Every student is allocated their own studio-based desk for the duration of their studies.
Key highlights include an annual all-school Design Charrette facilitated by a well-renowned guest lecturer and architect, off-campus study tours (including a paid international study tour for eligible students), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and access to internationally and nationally recognised academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers.
Yes. The Abedian Foundation Master of Architecture Scholarships are full fee scholarships awarded on academic merit to successful applicants commencing Bond's Master of Architecture. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the Bond University website for more details on how to apply.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
