Counselling sessions are facilitated by final-year counselling students under the mentorship of an experienced registered counsellor. These prac students have completed the majority of their training and have regular mentor and supervision sessions with an experienced practitioner.
Counselling is provided to CHC students free of charge. Members of the public pay $25 per session when seeing a counselling prac student. If you prefer to be referred to a private practitioner using CHC's rooms, you pay the fee charged by that particular practitioner.
Yes, counselling sessions are available both online and in-person at the CHC Counselling & Support Centre.

Master of Counselling students at CHC support clients across a range of concerns including grief and loss, loneliness, anxiety, depression, burnout, stress and overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, and seeking deeper connection, using holistic and person-centred approaches.
