General Requirements

English language proficiency must be demonstrated through an accepted test such as IELTS, as required by the Australian Government for student visa approval
International students must meet CHC's admission requirements and submit an application via the online portal or through a registered education agent
A non-refundable application fee of AUD $300 applies to all direct international applications
Applicants may be required to complete a prior course (e.g. a VET qualification) as a condition of admission in some cases

Who facilitates counselling sessions at the CHC Counselling & Support Centre?

Counselling sessions are facilitated by final-year counselling students under the mentorship of an experienced registered counsellor. These prac students have completed the majority of their training and have regular mentor and supervision sessions with an experienced practitioner.

How much does it cost to access counselling at CHC?

Counselling is provided to CHC students free of charge. Members of the public pay $25 per session when seeing a counselling prac student. If you prefer to be referred to a private practitioner using CHC's rooms, you pay the fee charged by that particular practitioner.

Can counselling sessions be held online or in person?

Yes, counselling sessions are available both online and in-person at the CHC Counselling & Support Centre.
